It was the first time I played Atelier Annie today. It has got a funny, light-hearted storyline which is apparent from the very beginning, but don't let that fool you. It's like the designer decided to put most of the elements in Mana Khemia on fast foward. It's crazy how fast you need to complete tasks and jobs that you need to remember sometimes since there is no reminding. Everything take at least a day when you leave the city: fighting and gathering. Even alchemy takes days to make an item. That's not a good thing when you have a strict timeline in which to do it in. You gain money quickly in the game, but you spend it twice as fast. Even amougst all my problems with the game's mechanics, I still find myself liking it. It's just plain strange.
